Update: This issue is resolved. As you were, Opponauts.
Good afternoon Oppo! As you may have noticed, replies are broken. Attempting to post a reply results in an eternal saving overlay stuck on a silent error. We're looking into a fix. In the mean time, if you're trying to drum up a conversation, post to your personal blog and share to Oppo.
We'll let you know once the issue is resolved.

I can reply to some people on Oppo, but not others. Weird.

Fun bonus fact: this post appears in initial loading, then Kinja dismisses it. It took me a lot of tries to get to it.
Good luck, Ernie!

Mobile issues - what's up? Could you email us with what you've found?

It should be fixed across the board. Let me know if this is not the case.

I actually made a post of my issues here on Oppo back in early January. I think the problem, on mobile Safari, at least, started when Kinja desktop started opening a taller editor pane when selecting "Reply". I included a video in that January post of what I'm experiencing. I can email this link if it would be easier. Thanks.

Ernie, this isn't related to the resolved issue, but can I ask about italicizing post titles? I usually use HTML tags to italicize words in the titles of posts that I make, but I haven't been able to do that for some time now while the Gawker staff still seems capable of that.
Additionally, regarding the invisible articles that you can click on when you're reading a Gawker blog article - is that intentional?

Hi! HTML tags wont work, but hotkeys will. CMD/CTRL+I selected text in your headline to italicize.
Invisible articles, I don't understand. Do you have an example, or can you explain more thoroughly?

The "invisible articles" thing can be seen on pretty much any Gawker blog article - take this Kotaku article , for example. If I scroll far enough down the left side of the page, I can hover over three articles that were also written by Brian Ashcraft - they're not visible, though. I'm guessing you guys wanted to get rid of the "Written by _" feature for the staff but only went as far as making the article titles invisible, so I can still accidently be taken to other posts via inadvertent clicks.
So we use button commands for the italics, I see. Thanks.

I see now, thanks for explaining.
I browse our sites without an ad blocking extension. After enabling the extension on one of our permalinks (the one you provided) I see that those "Written By" posts in the sidebar are indeed hidden. I guess the ad blocker is treating that unit as an ad, thus removing it from the page. We don't code around ad blockers tho, so that will probably remain the same for the foreseeable future.
